2009 FIFA Confederations Cup

This year’s FIFA Confederations Cup will be held June 14th – 28th in South Africa. The FIFA Confederations Cup is a preliminary for the FIFA World Cup. The eight teams that will be playing are the winners of each of the six FIFA confederation champions (USA, Brazil, Egypt, Spain, Iraq, and New Zealand), Italy, the 2006 FIFA World Cup winner and the host country, South Africa.
USA will be appearing in its fourth FIFA Confederations Cup tournament and is in group B. They will be playing Italy, the 2006 FIFA World Cup winner on June 15th at 2:25pm EST on ESPN, Brazil on June 18th at 9:55am EST on ESPN2 and Egypt on the 21st at 2:25pm EST on ESPN2.
Group B semifinals will be on June 25th at 2:25pm EST on ESPN and the finals will be on June 28th at 2:25pm EST on ESPN2.
