What is Diski Dance?

What is Diski Dance?

The Diski Dance is based on South Africa’s unique way of playing soccer. Diski Dance is rhythmic, showy and energetic. In Diski, every move has a name and there are different names from different parts of the country. Some are in Tswana, others Zulu, Sotho and even English. The moves have names like “Tsamaya”, “Heel Extension Mkhari” and “Chester” to mention a few. Continue reading

Jeff Cunningham of FC Dallas has been awarded the 2009 Major League Soccer Budweiser Golden Boot award. The award is given to the top goal scorer in the MLS at the end of the regular season. Cunningham had a career-high of 17 goals in 2009 and joins Taylor Twellman, Carlos Ruiz, Stern John and Roy Lassiter as two-time Golden Boot winners. Continue reading
