In a game of outdoor soccer, a team should field no more than 11 players, one of which is the goalkeeper. A game cannot start if a team has fewer than 7 players on the field. If a team cannot field the minimum amount of players, they may have to forfeit the game.
As a coach, you are not only responsible for your players, but for their parents as well. Parents play a big role in a player’s soccer experience both on and off the field. It is important for you to discuss your goals with them, as well as set guidelines before the season begins. Continue reading
