USA probably didn’t plan to be one goal down within 5 minutes of the first half. Steven Gerrard found himself unmarked and found the back of the net giving England a quick lead in the game. Yesterday was a big soccer day for Sideline Soccer! We went to a triple header at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA. After some great food and drinks from our tailgate party (thanks Charley!), we headed in for the first match between New England Revolution and Kansas City Wizards. USA wins first half but loses game in Confederation Final

It was the first time the USA Men’s National Team has ever made it to a FIFA tournament final. From the start of the tournament, no one thought they’d ever make it this far. They lost 3-1 against Italy in the first game and 3-0 against Brazil in the second game. Continue reading
