Number of Players

In a game of outdoor soccer, a team should field no more than 11 players, one of which is the goalkeeper. A game cannot start if a team has fewer than 7 players on the field. If a team cannot field the minimum amount of players, they may have to forfeit the game.

Well it depends on where you are playing indoors… i’ve played in places that its 7v7 and i’ve played in indoor tournaments that its 8v8. it just depends on the facility.

remember… this applies to outdoor soccer. indoor soccer is generally 6 a side including goalies and you cannot start with less than 4 players
