USA Women Still Ranked #1 by FIFA

FIFA just announced their March 27th ranking of the Women’s National Teams, and USA is still on top!

Even though the women were runner’s up in the Algarve Cup, they still remain the top team in the world. Germany, loosing 2 games in Portugal,  switched places with Brazil from the last release on December 18th. Since Norway lost 3 games in the Algarve Cup, they dropped to 9th and Japan moved up to 7th.

The following are the current rankings:

  2. Brazil
  3. Germany
  4. Sweden
  5. Korea DR
  6. Denmark
  7. Japan
  8. France
  9. Norway
  10. England

The next FIFA ranking will be on June 26th.
