The next World Cup Qualifier for the USA will be on June 3rd against Costa Rica. The game in Costa Rica will be held at the Estadio Ricardo Saprissa Ayma or simply known by U.S. fans as “Saprissa”, which can hold 24,000 people.

The USA has dropped their past five games at Costa Rica’s stadium and have failed to score in their last two World Cup qualifiers against Costa Rica, losing 3-0 in 2005 and 2-0 four years prior.

Then shortly after their trip to Costa Rica, USA will come back to Chicago to play Honduras at Soldier Field on June 6th. Ticket sales for the match have already exceeded 30,000.  The match will be the first of three between the USA and Honduras this year. They will meet again in a group match at the CONCACAF Gold Cup and the away qualifier later this year. Honduras gave the USA their last World Cup Qualifier loss at home in 2001 when the USA lost 3-2.

The Costa Rica qualifier will be shown live on ESPN at 10 p.m. ET. The game against Honduras will be at 7 p.m. CT and will be broadcasted live on ESPN Classic and Galavision. Fans can also follow along live on ussoccer.com’s MatchTracker.
